The project is geared towards maintaining the authentic historical ambiance of the museum-mine. Visitors will embark on an underground journey via a specially designed train, exploring exhibition halls that showcase the techniques of ore mining and processing, along with the various stages of technological evolution.
The initiative for the museum-mine project originated from Georgian Manganese and was subsequently handed over to the Chiaturi Municipality City Hall. The agreement formalizing the establishment of the museum-mine was signed by Besik Kirtadze, the special manager of the company, and Givi Modebadze, the mayor of Chiaturi municipality. This collaborative effort promises to breathe new life into the Eretli Historical Mine, preserving its rich history for generations to come.
