Lasha Tutberidze joined Georgian Manganese in 2021 and occupies the position of Director of Operational Management.
Lasha has long-term experience on leading positions in the public and private sectors. Since 2017, he has been the managing partner of the financial and taxation consulting company of GF S LLC, during various years he was the Director of the company Elitaudit, the Financial Director of the company Transves Tengineering. He was a member of the commission for developing Manuals of measures to be carried out during tax audits.
Lasha Tutberidze has the experience of training and academic activities. He was the Lecturer of the Faculty of Economics at Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University and led the course of practical study of the tax code. Lasha owns Diploma of the Economic Faculty of Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University, with the specialization of accounting, audit and analysis.
Besik Kirtadze joined the Georgian Manganese team in 2019 as the Deputy Director of the Economic Security Department. Since May 2023, his occupation is the position of Special Manager.
Besik has long-term work experience in public and private agencies, on leading positions. He occupied various positions of high responsibility in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in 1997-2004, and in the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia in 2004-2019.
In 1996 Besik Kirtadze graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law.
He has completed various international and local trainings. Has experience of working within the framework of Georgian legislation in the field of environmental protection.

Temur Khonelia joined Georgian Manganese in 2021 as the Director of the Internal Audit department and advisor of the Special Manager, currently his occupation is Administrative Director.
Temur has long lasting work experience in leading positions in the legal department of large and medium-sized companies. Among them are Halyk Bank Georgia JSC, TBS Bank JSC, Marina Coliseum LLC and etc.
Temur Khonelia has experience in academic activities. He was lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Ilia State University. Temur graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law.
Mariam Kutateladze is the Director of the Human Resources Management Department at Georgian Manganese, a role she has held since joining the company in 2020.
She brings extensive professional experience gained across international as well as local private and public sectors. Throughout her career, she has worked in human resources management and research at the Transcaucasian Research and Development Group (TRDG). She has also held positions within major international organizations, including BP and MCA-Georgia.
Mariam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Research from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Liverpool. She has also completed a specialized People Analytics program at the University of Cambridge, further strengthening her expertise in data-driven HR strategy and modern workforce management.
Giorgi Tatishvili joined Georgian Manganese in 2012 and currently occupies the position of Financial Director. Giorgi is responsible for the fields of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, accounting and export.
Giorgi has many years of work experience in such local and international financial institutions as HSBC Bank Georgia, TBC Bank, Bank of Georgia and Bank Republic Société General Group.
Giorgi has a master's degree from Grenoble Ecole de Management and Caucasus University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the European School of Management.
Natia Akhalaia joined Georgian Manganese in 2018 and holds the position of Director of the Legal Department. Natia is responsible for the development of the company's legal strategies and policies, considering the company's interests, including consulting on any legal issues of the company, its subsidiaries and employees, determining the appropriate directions for important deals, transactions and agreements for the company, ensuring compliance of the company's corporate issues with the legislation.
Natia Akhalaia has 15 years of experience working in various leading business sectors and cooperating with reputable, largest companies operating there. Her experience is also related to the field of banking and telecommunications. During the career in the field of telecommunications, she was involved in two major M&As.
In 2005-2009, Natia Akhalaia graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in the field of law and obtained a bachelor's degree. So far, she has been awarded a master's degree in Georgia, and is at the final stages of obtaining a second master's degree in international and interstate (transnational) law at ITT Chicago-Kent College of Law, USA.
To deepen her professional development and knowledge, Natia Akhalaia has completed numerous certificate programs or trainings, among them, she has participated in conferences organized in the field of law.
Irakli Nozadze joined the Georgian Manganese team in 2015 as the Director of the Department of Environmental Protection. Irakli's responsibility includes ensuring that environmental requirements and legal norms are strictly followed in the process of the company's operation.
Irakli has long-term work experience in both private and public sectors. He worked as an attorney at the law firm, and in 2013-2014 was a Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection.
Irakli holds both a master's and a bachelor's degrees of law from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Genadi Tikva joined the Georgian Manganese team in 2007 as the Financial Director and currently he holds the position of the Director of the Strategic Planning Department.
Genadi's many years of work experience is related to the mining enrichment activities in Ukraine at various large companies in management positions.
Genadi got Master’s Degree from Dnipropetrovsk State University, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, and Dnipropetrovsk Mining University, Faculty of Economics and Finance.
Paata Menchikov is the Head of the Information Technology Department at Georgian Manganese, having joined our team in January 2026.
Over the years, Paata has built extensive experience in information technology and IT infrastructure management. He has held positions at prominent organizations such as Georgia Healthcare Group (GHG) and Georgian Water and Power (GWP). He was directly involved in the implementation and development of large-scale IT systems and served as an active member in shaping corporate networks, server infrastructure, and cybersecurity systems.
Mr. Menchikov possesses significant expertise in business process automation and data protection. He currently leads the company’s digital transformation process and oversees the practical implementation of its technological development strategy.
Paata holds degrees from the Physics and Mathematics College of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and in Transport Engineering from the Georgian Technical University.
Giga Khvichia joined Georgian Manganese in 2013 as a Technical Safety Manager, and since 2020 he has held the position of Director of the Labour and Technical Safety Department. He is responsible and oversees the creation of a safe working environment in the company. An environment where each employee's work process complies with modern rules and regulations, in labour, technical and security fields.
Giga has many years of work experience both in the international and private sectors. At various times, he worked in multinational companies, such as: the Agricultural Cooperative Development International (ACDI/VOCA) agricultural development project created under the auspices of USAID, the Agriculture Development Projects Coordination Centre (PCC) Risk Assessment Exercise (RAE) created with the financing of the World Bank, as well as , BP and Spie Capac – Petrofac International Limited BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) Pipeline and BECHTEL projects.
Giga holds a diploma of agriculture specialist, in wine technology. During various times, he has completed certificate courses in the field of labor and technical safety.
Tamta Talakvadze joined Georgian Manganese in 2022 and currently serves as Public Relations Manager.
She brings extensive experience in public relations, marketing, and corporate communications, spanning the public sector, international organizations, and the media industry. Throughout her career, Tamta worked at Georgian Amelioration LLC under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, where she held the roles of Head of Subscriber Services and Communications Group and Public Relations Specialist. Her responsibilities included implementing PR strategy, managing media relations, coordinating information campaigns, and enhancing internal and external communication standards.
As part of her professional development, Tamta has completed a range of training programs in public relations, strategic communications, media relations, and crisis communication. She has also taken part in seminars on marketing and brand communication, as well as public speaking and presentation skills, further strengthening her professional expertise.
Tamta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, specializing in International Relations and the History of Diplomacy, from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Jemal Kharaishvili Mirian holds a master's degree in law, is a member of the Georgian Bar Association. He is a certified graduate of the European Union training in management and strategic planning.
Jemal's work experience has been related to the process of ore extraction and enrichment since 2000 in various companies.
He graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Faculty of Economics.
Gocha Kurdadze joined Giorgi Nikoladze Zestafoni ferroalloy plant in 1987 and currently holds the position of Director.
During many years of work at Ferroalloy, he worked at different times as an assistant of foreman, foreman of the production area, deputy head of the workshop, foreman and deputy director.
Gocha Kurdadze holds the academic degree of an engineer-metallurgist, in 2018 he was awarded a doctorate degree in the field of chemical technology and metallurgy at the Technical University of Georgia.
Gocha is the author of rationalizing propositions, scientific papers and the holder of patents. At various times, he has received awards for the successful implementation of his professional activities.
Zaza Uplisashvili has been the General Director of Vartsikhe 2005 LLC since 2005. Zaza has many years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Since 1992, he held the position of chief engineer of Elita LLC, in 1994-1995 he was the general manager of the Georgian bureau of Lufthansa and Condor airlines. He worked as the deputy governor of Marneuli district and from 2003 as the first vice-governor of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.
Zaza Uplisashvili holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering.
He also studied at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Georgia.
Sandro Khvedeliani joined Georgian Manganese in 2020 and currently holds the position of head of the commercial department. Sandro's responsibility is to ensure uninterrupted supply, logistics and warehousing services for the structural units included in the holding.
Sandro has many years of work experience in international, private and public sectors. At various times, he worked as an international project manager in companies such as BP and United Water Supply Company.
Sandro holds an MA in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Liverpool and a BA in Law from the Free University.
