The manufacture of products and industrial team’s activity originates from Chiatura, where manganiferous ore is mined both by open-pit and underground methods. We enrich the mined ore at local processing plants, resulting in the final product - manganese concentrate. The manganese concentrate obtained in Chiatura is supplied to 11 electric furnaces placed in the workshops of the Zestafoni ferroalloys plant, where as a result of melting we get two types of silicomanganese - Standard silicomanganese and High-Grade silicomanganese.
