Besik Kirtadze, the Special Manager of Georgian Manganese, and Irakli Nozadze, the company's Environmental Protection Director, met with Maya Bitadze, the chairman of the environment protection and natural resources committee of the Parliament.
During the working meeting held in the Parliament, the Special Manager of the company presented the current action plan in the direction of environmental protection.
At the meeting, it was emphasized, that after the implementation of the special management regime in Georgian Manganese, in terms of environmental protection, the progress took place and the new action plan envisages maintaining the mentioned direction.
It is about the elimination of the pollution of the river Kvirila and the reclamation of the lands on which ore was mined in an open pit manner.
