The Georgian Manganese football team achieved a historic result and won the title of the first absolute champion of the Business Champions League.
In the final stage of the debut tournament, the GM football team faced off against the reigning Super League champions, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) team. The season's most intense and emotional match ended in a 1:1 draw during regulation time, with Beso Peradze scoring the crucial goal for GM.
The fate of the trophy was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout. GM’s goalkeeper, Otar Machavariani, delivered a stellar performance by saving two penalties. His reliable presence between the posts secured the historic victory and the championship trophy for the team.
