The aim of the academy is to retrain and raise the qualifications of the company's enterprise employees and create a competitive and technological development-oriented human resource in the market. Trainings are conducted here in the production direction, but the task of the academy is also to improve the professional and technological skills of administrative and middle managers.<\/p>\n<p>\"Our task is to create an environment for employees that is focused on the formation of professional values, as well as personal and professional development. Due to the mining activity, there is very often a shortage of narrow and specialized specialists, which is very problematic for us. After I started working in this company, I realized that \"GM Academy\" is necessary and vital for such a big company as Georgian Manganese, and its existence is also important for the region and its development\", says Mariam Kutateladze, director of the Human Resources Management Department of Georgian Manganese.<\/p>\n<p>\"GM Academy\" provides practice-based training and continuous education for employees who carry out their duties in particularly difficult and dangerous conditions. The aim of the Academy is to train specialists in such professional and branch areas who will respond to the requirements of production activities. On the basis of professional training, middle managers and other specialists will be able to perform basic tasks in a mining enterprise and exercise control over them, timely detection of inconsistencies in the work process and their elimination, which will prevent employees from industrial injuries.<\/p>\n<p>\"Georgian Manganese\" has also developed a strategy for professional development of personnel in order for employees to improve their professional skills more effectively and to gain new knowledge and experience. The main strategy of the project \u2013 the professional training plan of the company's employees was written down in details in the beginning of 2021 and, based on the competitive environment of the labour market, it is periodically renewed.
